Improved Rate of Secret Key Generation Using Passive Re-Configurable Intelligent Surfaces for Vehicular Networks

چکیده
The reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) is a new technology that can be utilized to provide security vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications at the physical layer. In this paper, we achieve higher key generation rate for V2V lower cost and computational complexity. We investigate use of passive RIS as relay, introduce channel diversity increase (KGR), accordingly. regard, consider subsets consecutive reflecting elements instead whole in time slot, i.e., single reflector, reflectors are redirect signal receiver via beam forming. Simulations conducted different sizes RISs per RIS. From results obtained, it seen when subset entity, becomes increasingly difficult intercept eavesdropper. proposed scheme, KGR reaches up 6 bps slot.

Improved Secret Key Rate in Quantum Key Distribution using highly irregular Low-Density Parity-Check codes
Quantum key distribution (QKD) has proven to be the most mature subfield of quantum information theory, elegantly spanning the gap between theory and practice. It is a simple, and yet sophisticated idea, in which the fundamental principles of modern quantum mechanics are employed to distribute a provably secure cryptographic key between two parties. With many variations of this scheme realized,...
متن کاملPhysical layer secret key generation for fiber-optical networks.
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a method for generating and sharing a secret key using phase fluctuations in fiber optical links. The obtained key can be readily used to support secure communication between the parties. The security of our approach is based on a fundamental asymmetry associated with the optical physical layer: the sophistication of tools needed by an eavesdropping adv...

The physical attributes of the dynamic 1 vehicle-to-vehicle propagation channel can be utilized for 2 the generation of highly random and symmetric cryptographic 3 keys. However, in a physical-layer key agreement scheme, 4 nonreciprocity due to inherent channel noise and hardware 5 impairments can propagate bit disagreements. This has to 6 be addressed prior to the symmetric key generation whic...
متن کاملThe Strong Secret Key Rate
Three parties, Alice, Bob and Eve, know the sequences of ran-generated by a discrete memoryless source according to some probability distribution P XY Z. Motivated by Wyner's and Csiszz ar and KK orner's pioneering definition of, and work on, the secrecy capacity of a broadcast channel, the secret key rate of P XY Z was deened by Maurer as the maximal rate M=N at which Alice and Bob can generat...
متن کاملSecret Key Generation for Fading Wireless Channel
The multipath-rich wireless atmosphere allied with typical wireless usage scenarios is characterized by a vanishing channel retort that is time-varying, location-sensitive, and only shared by a given transmitter–receiver pair. The complexity allied with a highly scattering atmosphere implies that the short-term vanishing process is intrinsically hard to envisage and best modeled stochastically,...
